Before applying
Your passport must be valid for at least 7 months on the application date. Submit a current biometric photo and clear, readable passport documents. All personal details must match your passport exactly.

After e‑visa approval
Visa approval is not guaranteed; the final decision belongs to the Iraqi authorities. Check your full name, passport number, validity, permitted stay, entry right and any special conditions as soon as the e‑visa is issued.

At least 48 hours before your flight
Upload both outbound and return tickets and your Iraq hotel/accommodation details. An outbound ticket alone is not sufficient and the return date must fall within the permitted stay. Wait for operational approval.

Entry through Iraq airports
Air entry through Baghdad (BGW), Najaf (NJF) and Basra (BSR) is subject to current visa rules. The usual order is e‑visa control, visa sheet, passport control, entry stamp and admission to Iraq. Keep the visa sheet safe.

Stay and departure
Do not exceed the permitted 30-day stay. Air passengers may depart via an eligible international airport or open land border under current rules. If you entered by land, you must exit through the same border/customs gate. Always check that the exit stamp is present.

After leaving Iraq
Upload a clear image of the visa sheet showing both entry and exit stamps. Your travel file remains incomplete until this document is received and checked.

Violations, cancellation and refunds
Overstay or immigration violations may lead to fines, exit problems or future entry restrictions. Cancellation and refund rules shown before payment apply; decisions of Iraqi authorities remain final.
